Penne Pomodoro

Ingredients:

1 lb. penne pasta
2 tbsp. salad oil
28 oz. peeled Italian plum tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic, sliced
2 oz. pure olive oil
12 basil leaves, chopped
2 oz. Chablis
2 oz. Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp. salt
1⁄4 tsp. ground black pepper

Instructions:

Pasta: Cook pasta in 4 quarts of salted water. Drain and toss with salad oil. Place on sheet tray and cool to room temperature.
Sauce: Lightly brown garlic in olive oil. And remainder of ingredients, except cheese and cook off until lightly thick.
Add pasta and cheese and toss until heated through.
